It's taken a while for the flowers and trees and grass and such to catch up to the idea that it's actually spring. I've been waiting for this time for a few months now as I bought my new camera back in February. I'm very relieved to be able to go outside on a nice cool day and take such great shots of all the striking things around my home.

I am not finished yet either. As time progresses I hope to get more pics of things as they go through their stages and hopefully I'll also find more flowers and other great stuff to snap photos of.

I'm mostly glad to be taking the pictures at all, I enjoy them very much, but I'm also very happy to share them with people online and to build up my portfolio of work. This is truly an exciting time for me. I hope someone takes notice.
